TOTAL MONTHLY ACTIVITY
Page Requests
349,432,792
Average Daily Page Requests
3,839,921
Note 1: Requests for PDF files are included in this report. Each PDF file downloaded counts as a single request and does not reflect the actual number of
pages within the PDF file. ADDITIONAL DATA: Traffic generated from AvantGo is being reported separately on this audit report. AvantGo provides a service that uses a robotic-like
agent to collect the site's web content and stores a modified version on the AvantGo servers. The modified web content is served to a user of a Personal
Digital Assistant (PDA), like the Palm Pilots. The content collected by AvantGo is served to the user's PDA, but not all of this content has necessarily been
requested by the end user. Therefore, we have discounted the total activity from AvantGo, as we are unable to determine what page requests were made by the
end user. AvantGo traffic is not included in the total number of page requests

GLOSSARY
TERMS FOUND IN I/PRO REPORTS
Visitor
A user who interacts with a Web site. I/PRO uses Unique IP Addresses with heuristic statistical modeling to identify a visitor.
Visits
A series of requests, identified by the user's unique, persistent and pervasive cookie, or a unique identifier obtained through some form of user
registration or identification system, without 30 consecutive minutes of inactivity.
Unique Visitors
The number of different users, identified by the user's unique, persistent and pervasive cookie or unique identifier who visit a site within a specific time period (for instance a month).
Page Requests
The act of a user directing the web browser to "get" a page from a site, and the transmittal of that page to the user. A page may include text,
graphics, Java applets, or other elements. Page Requests are not a measurement of hits. Page Requests do not include hits to images. Multiple
frames on a page are reduced to one Page Request, in most cases the content frame. All passive requests, such as auto-refreshing and pushed
content (a pop-up that is not actively requested) are not considered to be Page Requests.
Ad Impression
The request of an advertising element as a direct result of a visitor's action, as recorded by the advertisement server software.
Click-Through
The opportunity for a visitor to be transferred to a location by clicking on an advertisement, as recorded by the server.
Click-Through Rate
Clicks divided by Ad Requests.
OTHER TERMS THAT AFFECT WEB MEASUREMENT
Unqualified Usage
Any web server requests which were not fully delivered, or which delivered an error (for example, File Not Found, or Permission Denied). In addition,
usage which evidence suggests has been delivered to a non-human (for example a spider or robot) is unqualified. I/PRO removes all unqualified
activity from its audited reports.
Local Usage
Activity generated by IP addresses associated to the Web site. I/PRO removes all local usage from its audited reports.
Browser Caching
The procedure whereby a Web site's content is uploaded by a service (e.g. AOL) or organization (e.g. a company). This allows the data to be
served to users more efficiently and quickly. When a user visits or revisits a page, their browser might display the page from the uploaded content,
rather than from a site's web server. As a result, web servers may undercount the number of times a page or advertisement has been viewed.
Proxy Caching
The storing of downloaded pages by a proxy server. A proxy server works as a receptacle of frequently requested files on the Internet, so that
several users may download the same object while using less bandwidth. As a result, web servers may undercount the number of times a page
or advertisement has been viewed.
